Join us at the Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar. With its tiki atmosphere, tropical thunderstorms and lagoon view, the place is iconic – and gloriously absurd. This San Francisco institution is our favorite exotic hide-away.
Find the Tonga Room within the Fairmont Hotel at 950 Mason Street, San Francisco, California.
Perched atop Nob Hill, an enchanted evening of cocktail, pupus, dancing and matrimony awaits.
6:00 PM — Tropical Tipples
Gather around the lagoon, a Mai Tai will find your hand.
6:45 PM — The Ceremony
Vows at the water's edge, as the band drifts past.
7:30 PM — Pupus
A pan-Pacific spread under the thatched ceiling.
9:30 PM — Dancing
Through the trade winds and thuderstorms that roll through.
1:00 AM — Last Call
Uma saideira and a hug goodnight.
For those wishing to linger a little longer, we have secured a block of rooms at the Fairmont Hotel. Kindly let us know if you'd like to stay there.
There are many other hotels around the area. Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf are both excellent choices for visitors. Wherever you stay, we recommend steering clear of the Tenderloin neighborhood.
The city's celebrated cable cars stop directly in front of the Fairmont. It would be criminal to miss the opportunity to ride one while you are here.
For folks driving, there is parking at the Fairmont, though expect hefty fees! San Francisco's reputation extends beyond Mission Burritos and spectacular views; the city is also regrettably acclaimed for car break-ins.
Leave nothing visible in your vehicle.
Keep in mind Waymo, Uber and Lyft are all excellent ways to get around the city.
Upon entering the Fairmont lobby, proceed past the front desk and descend to level T. Follow signs to the Tonga Room from there.
Cocktail attire encouraged.
The souvenir of your company is the only gift we seek.
Your reply is in. We can't wait to share a Mai Tai with you.
Please RSVP by the 1st of August.
For this event we're discouraging kids.
